Russian delegation took part in the mourning ceremony for late President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang

Today the mourning ceremony for late head of the state Tran Dai Quang was held in the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi. He passed away on September 21 aged 61 following a long illness

headed Russian delegation at the memorial service for Tran Dai Quang. She left a note in the book of condolences:

”On behalf of the leadership of the Russian Federation, I express my deepest condolences to the leadership of the country and all the citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the enormous loss – the untimely death of President Tran Dai Quang, I convey my sincere sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of the late leader. 

Tran Dai Quang was known in Russia as a staunch supporter of stronger traditional friendship and cooperation between our countries, the person who made a significant personal contribution to promotion and strengthening of the Russian-Vietnamese comprehensive strategic partnership.

We grieve together with the fraternal people of Vietnam. Blessed memory of comrade Tran Dai Quang, who devoted his life to passionate dedication to his fatherland, will remain in our hearts forever.“
