The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
said at a meeting with Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
The Chairman of the State Duma informed that at his today’s meeting with the Chairman of the Turkish Parliament the issues of preparation for the third meeting of speakers of the parliaments of Eurasia, which will be held in Antalya from October 8 to 11, were discussed.
Earlier Viacheslav Volodin within the framework of his working visit to Ankara conducted a bilateral meeting with Chairman of the Great National Assembly of Turkey Binali Yıldırım. The possibility of establishing a high commission between the State Duma and the Great National Assembly of Turkey, and issues of countering terrorism and ensuring regional security at the parliamentary level were discussed. Moreover, the issue of the Second International Conference on Terrorism and Interregional Cooperation that is planned in Tehran at the end of this year was touched upon.
