Commission for Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

Commission for Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was established on 1 July, 2019. According to the Regulations, the Commission of 10 members meets annually. The Commission is led by the Chairman of the Federation Council, the Chairman of the Duma and and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

The Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the State Great Khural of Mongolia was established on June 20, 2023, the first meeting was held on September 25, 2023 in Ulaanbaatar. According to the Statute, the Commission meets once a year and is composed of senators of the Russian Federation, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and deputies of the State Great Khural of Mongolia.

Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Republic of Nicaragua

The Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Republic of Nicaragua was established on October 02, 2023. In accordance with the Statute, the Commission meets annually and is co-chaired by the Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma and the Deputy Chairperson of the National Assembly. The first meeting of the Commission was held on October 02, 2023 in Moscow. The second meeting is foreseen to be held in 2024 in Managua.

Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia

The Commission was established on the basis of the Agreement on Cooperation between the State Duma and the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia dated October 09, 2023. According to the Agreement, the Commission meets at least twice a year, alternately in the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia. Composition: 10 persons from the State Duma, the composition from the Parliament of South Ossetia is not formed. The Commission is co-chaired by the Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma and the Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Assembly of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma and the Assembly of the Islamic Consultative Assembly was established on 9 April, 2018. In accordance with the Charter, the Commission meets annually. The Commission consists of up to 10 members from both sides. The Commission is led by the chairman of the State Duma and the Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly or their deputies. The first meeting was held in Volgograd in September 2018. The second meeting was held in January 2020 in Tehran. The third meeting was held in January 2023 in Tehran.

Inter-chamber Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Commission was established on 25 April 2012. There were held 11 meetings in total. The last meeting was held in June 2024 in Astana. The Deputy Chairmen of both chambers are the Co-Chairs of the Commission. The Commission consists of 17 State Duma parliamentarians and 20 representatives of the Mazhilis.

Inter-chamber Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Commission was established on 13 February 2023. According to the Agreement, the Commission holds meetings twice a year. It consists of 10 members of the State Duma, and the Milli Majlis has not appointed its representatives yet. The Deputy Chairmen of the State Duma and the Milli Majlis are the Co-Chairs of the Commission. The meetings of the Commission have not been held yet.

Inter-chamber parliamentary commission for cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Assembly of Representatives (Majlisi namoyandagon) of the Supreme Assembly (Majlisi Oli) of the Republic of Tajikistan

Inter-chamber parliamentary commission for cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assemblyof the Republic of Tajikistan was established on January 26, 1998. In accordance with the Regulations, the Commission meets twice a year. The composition is up to 10 members from each side. The co-chairs of the Commission are approved by both chambers respectively. In the current 8th convocation of the State Duma, the Russian part of the commission has not been formed.

Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic

The Commission was established on 17 May 2007. The regulations provide for holding the meetings of the Commission at least twice a year. The Commission consists of 6 members of the State Duma, 5 senators of the Federation Council and 10 members of the Jogorku Kenesh. Russian Co-Chair of the Commission is D.N.Kobylkin (the State Duma) and Russian Deputy-Chair of the Commission is F.M.Mukhametshin (the Federation Council).

Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The federal level Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established on 16 April 2001. The regulations provide for holding the meetings of the Commission twice a year. The Commission consists of 10 members of the State Duma, 11 representatives of the Federation Council and 20 members of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Deputy Speakers of the Federation Council and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan are the Co-Chairs of the Commission (G.N.Karelova is Russian Co-Chair).

The Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia was established on 18 February 1998. According to the regulations, the meetings of the Commission are held twice a year. The Commission consists of 10 members of the State Duma, 9 senators of the Federation Council and 18 members of the National Assembly. The Deputy Speakers of the Federation Council and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia are the Co-Chairs of the Commission. (Y.L.Vorobyov is Russian Co-Chair).

Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the People’s Assembly – Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia

The Commission was established on 1 December 2022. According to the Agreement, the meetings of the Commission are held at least twice a year alternately in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia. As a rule, the Commission includes 10 representatives of each chamber. The Commission consists of 11 members of the State Duma and 13 members of the People’s Assembly – Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia. The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma P.O.Tolstoy and the Deputy Speaker of the People’s Assembly – Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia A.B.Arshba are the Co-Chairs of the Commission.

Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

The Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was established on December 24, 2018. The third meeting of the Commission was held in September 2024 in Moscow. In accordance with the Agreement on the establishment of the Commission, the Commission meets once a year. The Commission is co-chaired by the Chairperson of the State Duma and the Chairperson of the National Assembly of Vietnam. The Commission is composed of deputies of the State Duma and the National Assembly of Vietnam.

Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China

The Commission was established on 23 September, 2014. The eighth meeting of the Commission was held on July 10, 2023, in Beijing, PRC. According to its Statute, the Commission meets once a year. The Commission is co-chaired by the Chairperson of the Federation Council and the Chairperson of the State Duma on the Russian side and the Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on the Chinese side. The Statute of the Interparliamentary Commission provides for the participation of up to ten representatives of both chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the meetings.

Russian-Indian Interparliamentary Commission was established on 16 November, 1998. In accordance with the Charter, the Commission meets annually. The composition consist of 10 members of each side. The Commission is led by presidents of chambers. The last meeting was held in December 2018 in India.

The Commission for Cooperation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba

The Commission for Cooperation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba was established on November 30 , 2022. In accordance with the Regulations, the Commission meets annually with 10 people from each side, the co-chairs of the Commission are the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma and the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of People's Power. The first meeting of the Commission was held on April 28, 2023 in Havana. The second meeting is scheduled to be held in Moscow in 2024.

The Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia was established on 17 December, 2015. In accordance with the Charter, the commission meets annually. Parliaments compose delegations independently (up to 10 people normally). The commission is led by chairmen of the State Duma and the National Assembly of Sebia. The latest (5th) meeting was held in Moscow on 12 February, 2020.
