Meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held in Minsk

Meeting was chaired by the CSTO PA Chairman, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. Parliamentarians discussed the harmonization of the legislations of the CSTO member states and development of model laws on countering challenges and threats to security in the area of responsibility of the organization. They also supported the adoption of a number of statements by the Council of the Assembly

“Russia has repeatedly initiated a discussion of the issues related to the concerns about the growth of diseases that seemed to be a thing of the past, in order to identify the reasons of emerging new epidemics, including on the territory of Ukraine,” she said

The State Duma initiated an investigation into the activities of the biological laboratories in Ukraine

Members of the State Duma also appealed to the Federation Council with a proposal to create a parliamentary commission to investigate the circumstances related to the creation of biological laboratories by the US specialists in Ukraine
