The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)

The first thing, according to the Chairman of the State Duma, is a crisis of the American political system. “For a long time, the United States has been systematically creating the preconditions for the further worsening of the political and economic situation in the country. The leadership has made and continues to make many decisions that affect the internal issues, not hearing its own citizens. Any step aimed at improving the current practice is considered by the current authorities as an attempt to start a coup and is severely suppressed,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
Secondly, as noted the Chairman of the State Duma, there is a serious divide within American society.
“For many years, the White House has used the race issues, religion, and political beliefs to divide the Americans. There was spread LGBT propaganda (editor’s note: recognized as an extremist organization in the Russian Federation) among the conservative part of the population, imposed same-sex marriages, and destroyed traditional values. There were fueled hatred and discord. The confrontation among politicians, businesses and citizens has reached unprecedented level,” posted Vyacheslav Volodin.
The third thing is the over-concentration of the current US authorities on interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states.
“Trump’s position on the situation in Ukraine could have caused an act of aggression. This cannot be completely ruled out now. Trump is one of the few Western politicians who has openly spoken about the need to stop sponsoring military actions. This version can be proved by the similar recent attack on the Prime Minister of Slovakia Fico. Earlier, he had said that the West used Ukraine for geopolitical purposes to counter Russia,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.
“The incident was almost similar. Conclusion: these many years of such US policy, has literally led the county to the brink of civil war. This is also proved by opinion polls — 37% believe that if Biden is re-elected as president, a civil war is likely to happen. Political opponents in the United States of America and Europe use a nervous and divided society for their own vested and selfish interests. This is unacceptable,” he added.
“There is a need in fundamental changes in the domestic and foreign policy of Washington and Brussels. Otherwise, the West will face big problems,” concluded Vyacheslav Volodin.
