and Inna Svyatenko.
The Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova gave examples of serious crimes committed by the Kiev regime against minors in the recent period. “Since the end of 2023, the actions of the Kiev regime resulted in death of 11 children, injuries of 22 minors and damages of more than 20 children’s infrastructure facilities. More than nine thousand shells fell on the territory of the new regions of Russia, as it has been recorded,” she emphasized. According to her, the worse is the situation at the front for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the more often they strike civilian targets.
“It is important to prepare proposals on the possibility of discussing the crimes of the Kiev regime at the BRICS Parliamentary Forum, which will be held in St. Petersburg, to develop formats that will be useful and possible. I think this will be another step towards defending Russia’s interests and protecting our children,” said the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma.
According to her, the results of the work of Russian diplomats, as well as “everyone who pays attention to the crimes committed by the Kiev regime,” are already visible. “We see that positions differ a lot: if the UN Secretary General condemned the attacks on Lisichansk and Belgorod, the US Representative to the UN said that they did not have complete information about the incident in Lisichansk, but he knew that Russia should be blamed for that. Colleagues, we see that there is no common position on the issues related to accusations and naming those responsible for crimes in the UN structures,” stressed Anna Kuznetsova.
Commenting on the recent information about tests of new vaccines and medicines by foreign pharmaceutical companies on children in Ukraine, Anna Kuznetsova called for enhancing cooperation with international health structures, including the WHO.
The Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova told about the work based on incoming requests on issues related to aggression and criminal actions of the Kiev regime: “We work closely with law enforcement agencies, international organizations and everyone who is interested in the well-being of children”.
She noted the ongoing humanitarian assistance provided to regions suffering from shelling, as well as assistance in medical treatment and rehabilitation, and prosthetics for wounded children: “The Russian approach to the living conditions of children complies with the norms of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. For the full and harmonious development of their personality, children need to be raised in a family environment, in an atmosphere of love and understanding.” According to Maria Lvova-Belova, Ukraine persecutes families who took care of children from the LPR and DPR in 2022.
