emphasized that the United States of America “is colonizing the world and wants to create laboratories to use them
to collect the most dangerous viruses and pathogens around the world.”
“We agreed that we will provide all necessary assistance to our delegation in the preparation of the 9th BTWC Review Conference. This is the most important international format. Moreover, we have discussed and, probably, we will implement our plan: we will propose to include our representatives of the Parliamentary Investigation Commission in the official delegation that will take part in the 9th Review Conference,” said Irina Yarovaya.
According to her, members of the Commission are convinced that illegal biological activity is one of the most alarming areas in the system of global security measures.
“We are interested in developing, together with other countries, serious control measures aimed at ensuring that no biological research is used for military purposes,” stressed Irina Yarovaya.
The creation of the Parliamentary Commission of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on investigation into the circumstances related to the creation of biological laboratories by the US specialists on the territory of Ukraine was initiated by the State Duma.
