The Deputy Chairwoman
of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya
Yarovaya
Irina Anatolievna
recalled that on March 11, the State Duma
unanimously adopted an appeal to the United Nations Organization and the OSCE
PA on the need to investigate the activities of the US biological laboratories
in Ukraine. In addition, the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin
instructed to initiate a parliamentary investigation and invite the US Under
Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to provide explanations.
Irina Yarovaya recalled that earlier during the hearings at the Senate, she “confirmed the fact of existence of biological laboratories in Ukraine and the US efforts aimed at doing everything that Russia will never get the materials.”
“The Parliamentary Commission decided to invite Victoria Nuland within the framework of a parliamentary investigation: on May 25, through diplomatic channels, she was given an official invitation to a meeting of the Commission to answer questions about the activities of the US military biological laboratories in Ukraine,” added Irina Yarovaya.
According to her, the handed document indicated that “ignoring the invitation of the Parliamentary Commission and refusing to provide the information necessary for the investigation could be considered as confirmation of the facts of the nefarious activities of the US government agencies by creating and using biological laboratories on the territory of Ukraine,” and that, as emphasized Irina Yarovaya, will be reflected in the final report.
“Today is the tenth day of Victoria Nuland’s silence and no answer from her assistants, and that reveals true dangerous nature of the entire US military project on biological laboratories. The US strategy in matters of global security has repeatedly had irreversible consequences for different countries. What the United States is preparing for the world this time in its military laboratories is not a rhetorical question, but a vital one,” added the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma.
Irina Yarovaya stressed that the Commission “does not expect to obtain confessions from Victoria Nuland or the Pentagon.”
“But it is obvious that the whole world should be interested in preventing the viral and pathogenic invasion of the United States into the activities of other countries and nations,” concluded Irina Yarovaya.
The creation of the Parliamentary Commission of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on investigation into the circumstances related to the creation of biological laboratories by the US specialists on the territory of Ukraine was initiated by the State Duma. The need to investigate the activities of the US biological laboratories has repeatedly been emphasized by the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
The Commission consists of 14 members of the State Duma and 14 senators. Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya and Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev are the Co-Chairs of the Commission.
