On April 4, the Deputy
Chairwoman of the State Duma, Co-Chair of the Parliamentary Commission on Investigation into the Activities of the US Biological Laboratories in Ukraine
Irina Yarovaya

said that Ukraine had become a testing ground for the US biological
laboratories.
According to her, the goals and objectives of the investigation of the Commission are ensuring the safety, life and health of citizens of Russia, Ukraine and in general everyone. “Therefore, our task is to review how the situation with the epidemiological safety is developing in Russia, in Ukraine, and in general in other countries; comparing to the information that was revealed during the successful special operation aimed at protecting the residents of the DPR and LPR, being conducted on the territory of Ukraine by the Russian Armed Forces.
Irina Yarovaya recalled that “Russia has repeatedly initiated a discussion of the issues related to the concerns about the growth of diseases that seemed to be a thing of the past, in order to identify the reasons of emerging new epidemics, including on the territory of Ukraine, when the number of diseases of tuberculosis, measles, poliomyelitis was five times higher and had become the subject of consideration, including by the World Health Organization.”
“But at that time, those issues were considered only in connection with the low level of vaccination and the general poor socio-economic situation. Now, when we already have reliable information, documents, proving that a whole network of laboratories had been created on the territory of Ukraine that collected dangerous viruses and pathogens, we can see that the localization of those diseases: both outbreaks and spots of infectious diseases, which, I would like to emphasize, we thought they were things of the past, are directly related to the location of the laboratories,” said the parliamentarian.
Thus, according to Irina Yarovaya, the outbreaks of the diseases were found in the areas where those biological laboratories were located. “Therefore, our task is to clarify the cause-and-effect links. We should know if it was a leak of dangerous viruses and pathogens, because we know that the United States had a number of incidents on its territory when a leak of viruses led to outbreaks of diseases, or if it was an intention, deliberate act related to experiments and study on the impact”, she said.
“In this regard, dear colleagues, I would like to read out the assessment given by the US analytical center Stratfor, I want to emphasize that there are the CIA representatives in its leadership, that the difficult situation in Ukraine, caused by the rapid spread of AIDS and tuberculosis, makes this state a difficult neighbor and ally of very dubious merit,” said the Co-Chair of the Commission.
According to Irina Yarovaya, such a neighborhood is dangerous for Russia: “Such laboratories are located quite close to our borders, and such a neighborhood, as the US intelligence services admit, is very dangerous. And from the point of view of the dubiousness of the alliance, this emphasizes that the United States considers Ukraine as a state not even of the second, third, fourth [world], but as a testing ground where any research that can harm the citizens of Ukraine can take place.”
And there are numerous examples, as Irina Yarovaya said. “In recent years, a very dangerous type of tuberculosis, the so-called Asian type, had been actively circulating on the territory of Ukraine, which has a high mortality rate, and which is very resistant to antibiotics, and which could hardly be found on its territory before,” stressed Irina Yarovaya.
“At the same
time, in 2020 Dmitry A. Khubezov

provided information about that and now he is
in Lugansk on behalf of the Commission. This information contained facts that one
of the schools in Lugansk received a large number of counterfeit banknotes. The security services were vigilant and studied those banknotes,” she stressed.
“Studies have shown that the banknotes were infected with the Asian tuberculosis virus. Both the strain that was discovered and the fact that the banknotes were found on the territory of the school meant that the bioterrorist attack was very targeted and they expected that children would be interested in touching those banknotes,” said Irina Yarovaya.
“The bacteria in such an active, living format as it was confirmed by the studies in the laboratory would certainly cause mass infection of children. And if the vigilance and the studies that were carried out were not done in time, it would be difficult to predict the consequences,” the parliamentarian concluded.
Irina Yarovaya appeled to law enforcement agencies for additional research to take operational measures in order to find new sources of evidence.
“This case can be considered as a case of bioterrorism,” said Irina Yarovaya. “Therefore, I believe that at out next meeting we will have additional materials that will be presented from the territory of the Lugansk Republic,” she concluded.
