On Thursday, March 31, the first meeting of the Parliamentary Commission of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on investigation into the circumstances related to the creation of biological laboratories by the US specialists on the territory of Ukraine was held at the State Duma. A representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation presented information on the subject of the investigation.

“It is obvious that the special operation aimed at protecting the residents of the DPR and LPR has revealed the facts of the dangerous activities of the United States of America on the territory of Ukraine. Those activities are dangerous both for Russia and for Ukraine. We are talking about secret activities controlled by the US Department of Defense, with signs of the development of biological weapons,” stressed the parliamentarian.
The Co-Chair of the Commission also said: “We have created four working groups that will prepare materials on behalf of the Commission. We will conduct a detailed analysis comparing all documents and facts, including at the expert level.”
There are also working groups on the issues of biological and medical analysis and assessment of the activities of biological laboratories in Ukraine, on the international legal assessment of the activities of biological laboratories in Ukraine, on the analysis and forecasting of military and terrorist risks and threats in connection with the organization of activities of biological laboratories on the territory of Ukraine, on issues of scientific and informational analysis.
The working groups, in accordance with the law, will perform several activities of the Commission on biological and medical analysis, international law, security, scientific and information analysis.
The Co-Chair of the Commission also recalled that earlier they were instructed to consider the issue of inviting US officials to provide explanations about the information about the participation of the United States in the biological programme in Ukraine.
“In accordance
with the previously announced instruction of the Chairman of the State Duma,
the Commission asked the working groups on defense, security and international
law to start working on materials on Biden Jr.’s involvement in the project in Ukraine and inviting him and Ms. Nuland to provide explanations,” informed
Irina Yarovaya.
“We will prepare a final report which will be sent to the President, the Government, state and international organizations. We have already begun the formation of a dossier, which will later be used as the basis of the report. We will use the data presented by the Ministry of Defense, and evidence for research, facts that pose a threat to our country and European countries,” said the Co-Chair of the Commission.
The information will also be sent to the Government of the Russian Federation, other federal state authorities, state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the relevant local authorities, as well as it will be published and posted on the Internet.
“We also plan to send information to international organizations,” added Irina Yarovaya.
The next meeting of the Parliamentary Commission will be held on April 4 at the Federation Council.

of all factions. According to the law, an appeal to initiate a parliamentary
investigation must be signed by at least one-fifth of the total number of members of the State Duma. The relevant document was signed by 448 members of the State Duma.
The Commission consists of 14 members of the State Duma and 14 senators. The Commission's Co-Chairs are the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya and the Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev.
