Issues related to the activities of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy were discussed at the meetings. Sergei Gavrilov emphasized that the meeting participants commended the active work of the Assembly.
“We hope that we will be able to get back to our normal work as soon as the pandemic is over, in particular within the framework of cultural and humanitarian projects. We share common views with our Greek colleagues on a number of local conflicts, in particular in Jerusalem and the Middle East. The leadership of the Hellenic Republic supported aspiration of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy to build relations on the basis of common Christian values,” said Sergei Gavrilov.
