He said that, at the meeting, together with the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutskiy Slutsky Leonid Eduardovich Slutsky

and the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov, they explained to the members of the foreign delegation the electoral legislation of the Russian Federation, and also emphasized the need to non-politicize and observe objectively the electoral processes in Russia.

“The newly elected ODIHR Director assured the Russian delegation of the impartiality and objectivity of the Bureau's activities, and expressed readiness for mutual cooperation with the State Duma,” stressed Petr Tolstoy.
