Besides, the Chairman of the State Duma said, “there is a discussion on a four-day working week, it was proposed by the Prime-Minister, and we are actively discussing this proposal in the parliament.”

“It is important to discuss not only political but also labor rights,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.

He focused on observing the pilots' right to rest.

“The pilot working for a European company should rest longer,” the Chairman of the State Duma emphasized. He noted that it is impossible to carry out long flights without a change of crew and spoke about the Russian experience in this sphere. “Our pilots have protected rights in this matter [rest],” he said.

Viacheslav Volodin also pointed out the need to protect the labor rights of miners. “This is a serious matter,” he said.

The PACE President agreed with him. “You should raise these issues, it is very important,” said Liliane Maury Pasquier.

During the meeting, Viacheslav Volodin also thanked Liliane Maury Pasquier for the fact that she did a lot for Russian full participation in the PACE work. “The nation cannot be incapacitated.
