considers scientific and technological innovations and relations between people
to be the drivers of growth of cooperation between Russia and China. The evening, organized by Chinese-Russian
and Russian-Chinese friendship societies, as well as the Union of Chinese
Entrepreneurs in Russia, was held at the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow.
He noted the longstanding cooperation between Russia and China and also
recalled that our country “was the first, who recognized the new people's state
on the second day of the proclamation of the PRC and announced the establishment of diplomatic relations with the PRC”.
“Today, we have a right to call our diplomatic relations the best in their entire history. They are truly relations of a comprehensive, equal,
trusting partnership and strategic interaction. They rely on strong traditions
of friendship, on common interests, on understanding the importance of good
neighborliness for the benefit of our peoples, and on supporting each other on fundamental issues,” said Ivan Melnikov.
He paid great
attention to the development of humanitarian cooperation and public diplomacy,
and also recalled that the political dialogue between our countries is strengthening,
cooperation in practical and humanitarian fields is growing, as well as coordination
in the international arena.
