“In May last year, the people of Venezuela elected Nicolás Maduro as president of the country. People of Venezuela are the source of power, not the US State Department. The United States authorities are violating all democratic principles and international norms, telling sovereign states who should be a president and how they should live,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
