in Venezuela had identified several obvious things.
“The situation is developing according to a well-known scenario. The same situation has already taken place in Libya, in Ukraine, it also started in Syria. When they use popular discontent over economic difficulties for declaring the legitimate government of the country illegitimate. There took place the organization of subversive acts by part of the political elite bribed with American money and illegally proclaimed itself the new leadership of the country. And there was immediate recognition of these impostors as the legitimate authority by the United States and its satellites. The difference is that now American “exporters of freedom and democracy” not only do not try to hide, but behave extremely cynically. After President Maduro had severed diplomatic relations with the United States and demanded the Americans to leave, the US State Department announced that their diplomats would not leave. All these actions are nothing less than political terrorism”, the parliamentarian stressed.
“Venezuela is on the brink of civil war, if not like it happened in Syria, but definitely like it took place in other Latin American countries. Despite the mass protests in the capital city Caracas, the legitimate President Maduro is supported by a significant part of the population, especially in the provinces, and even more in the oil-producing regions. The president is supported by the army. Therefore, it is highly likely to predict a national conflict with weapons. And the US will definitely help impostors with weapons,” Elena Panina added.
“Such a situation in Venezuela has not started today. Political and economic difficulties had been increasing. Yes, Mr. Maduro won the presidential election in May 2018, but it took place in the wake of growing popular discontent over the deterioration of population's life. Real deterioration. And the leadership of Venezuela, having serious economic instruments like oil revenues, failed to continue social and economic policies of Hugo Chávez to maintain social stability and the standard of living of the population. And the United States will send humanitarian aid to Venezuela, giving the appearance of benefactor Uncle Sam. Essentially, this help will not change anything, but it will make it seem like that”, the member of the Committee on International Affairs emphasized.
“We have serious economic oil projects with Venezuela, agreements on military cooperation, many of our specialists work on the implementation of joint projects in Venezuela. In addition, we should not forget that Venezuela is one of the largest oil-producing countries in the world, and by getting access to the oil resources, the United States can send prices down on the world oil market, which will seriously affect the Russian economy. Therefore, taking into account all these factors, Russia should not remain aloof from unceremonious interference of the United States aimed at overthrowing the legitimate president of Venezuela. I think that China, which has invested about 50 billion dollars in joint projects with Venezuela, will not ignore this situation too. Only the firm position of the two great powers and other countries can be an irrefutable diplomatic argument for presumptuous ”exporters of democracy“ to prevent bloodshed in Venezuela. However, we must be realistic and understand that the direct military presence, as in Syria, is hardly acceptable for us in Latin America”, Elena Panina said.
“This is another lesson for Russia and those countries that are trying to resist the encroachment of New World Order. How long we continue making the same mistakes? If we are offered the same scenario of undermining state sovereignty, we need to develop our own scenario of preventing and countering such interventions, rather than waiting for an open conflict to be provoked. And Russia, China and other countries that do not agree with such a subversive globalist policy, cannot fail to understand that we will sooner or later become a target in this chain of provocations. Organization can only be contrasted with another organization. When Soviet Russia needed to cope with the intervention of the Entente Allied Powers in the fueling of civil war, Comintern was created, which launched a mass information and organizational work to attract general public of Western countries to the cause. And this activity was very successful. Maybe it's time to create a new international ”Antipoliticalterror“? Moreover, the idea to establish new world domination is already failing. Until then, we will have to deal with the situation”, the parliamentarian concluded.
