The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
also visited the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, in particular, the Museum.
The Monument to the Fallen Heroes is located in the northern part of Hanoi, near the central party and state institutions, not far from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. It was inaugurated on May 7, 1994, on the day of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Vietnamese people against the French colonialists in the Dien Bien Phu battle.
The Mausoleum is located on Ba Dinh Square, at the entrance there is the banner on the marble slab with the phrase of Ho Chi Minh: “Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom.” The Mausoleum was designed and built with the assistance of Soviet specialists. Medical cooperation between Vietnamese specialists and the Russian Research Center for Biomedical Technologies VILAR of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences continues to date.
During his official visit to Vietnam, Chairman of the State Duma is going to hold bilateral meetings with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyễn Phú Trọng and Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyễn Xuân Phúc. There will also be a meeting with Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân. In addition, parties plan to sign the Regulations of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma and the National Assembly of Vietnam.
