Leonid Eduardovich noted that the results of the presidential elections in Brazil should not adversely affect the level of bilateral relations with Russia and mutual cooperation at international platforms.

“We hope that the interaction between two countries in the UN, BRICS and the G20 will be continued. Brazil is an important and strategic partner for Russia. New president, Jair Bolsonaro, has already promised a sound foreign policy approach. I am sure that our relations will only strengthen and develop,” the parliamentarian concluded.
