“Today, the world community is interested just in the parliamentary cooperation and development,” emphasized Nadezhda Shkolkina. “We, as legislators, should develop these initiatives, declarations, agreements that are signed by the leaders of our states, should provide all the necessary legislative assistance and implementation,” she added.

The First Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee on Economic Policy also noted the professional dialogue with India’s business community and colleagues-parliamentarians from India at the Forum. According to her, this would help building long-term relations.

“We have exchanged experience, compared notes, outlined the prospects for development,” said Nadezhda Shkolkina.
