“We have reached the agreements that allow us to more effectively protect our citizens from, let me emphasize, unjustified persecution by foreign states and international justice bodies. This is a completely different level of resolution and legal assistance,” said the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin

at the plenary meeting.

He noted that one of the agreements ratified that day was related to cooperation with the Republic of Belarus on such issues. “It is important for us to follow this path with our allies — member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the CIS, and other countries. Then everyone will understand that we stand shoulder to shoulder for our citizens and will not let anyone commit provocations against them,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.

According to the Chairman of the State Duma, tensions have increased in the world: agreements and principles established after World War II have ceased to apply. “Therefore, we should join our efforts with allies and counterparts and reach decisions that will help us achieve greater effectiveness in protecting against lawlessness,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.
