The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
noted the further significant activity of members of the State Duma aimed at developing inter-parliamentary relations.

“The world has changed, there are more challenges now. The Russian Federation and our President are doing everything possible to ensure that relations between countries are built on the principles of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation, and non-interference in the affairs of other sovereign states,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.

Vyacheslav Volodin also drew attention to current undermining of the principles of international law established after World War II. “A world without rules has become the 'new rule,'” he emphasized. “This leads to new problems and tensions. It has now become clear and we see the results of violations of the sovereignty of other states, no longer using fig leaves for hiding their true intensions,” he added.

“In developing dialogue with the parliaments of other states, we should do everything possible to ensure that countries understand the consequences of such disrespect for maintaining global security,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.
