The Chairman of the State Duma informed Lương Cường about the recent meeting of the Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma and the National Assembly of Vietnam. According to Vyacheslav Volodin, the joint work within this format makes the bilateral cooperation more effective.
“Our goal is to do everything possible to implement the agreements through legislative decisions and ensure dynamic development of our relations. This was the main topic of yesterday's fourth meeting of the joint commission,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin. “We discussed issues specifically in terms of legislative decisions and the creation of a legal framework. And this is our goal,” he added.
“I would like to convey my warmest greetings to Comrade President Vladimir Putin,” said Lương Cường. “I also want to congratulate Russia on its achievements under the leadership of Comrade President,” he added. He also noted the contribution of the State Duma.
“Our party, state, and people always remember the invaluable assistance of the Soviet Union. We always adhere to our policy of maintaining and developing relations with our partners, including Russia,” said Lương Cường.
The Chairman of the State Duma is paying an official visit to Vietnam. Vyacheslav Volodin has met with the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic Trần Thanh Mẫn.
The fourth meeting of the Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma and the National Assembly of Vietnam was also held in Hanoi.
