met with the Chairman of State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang.
The Chairman of the State Duma conveyed warm words of greetings and congratulations on the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japanese colonial rule from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
In addition, Vyacheslav Volodin expressed gratitude to Kim Jong-un for the provided assistance by the Korean people to Russia in the fight against neo-Nazi invaders in the Kursk region.
Kim Jong-un asked Vyacheslav Volodin to convey warm words of greetings from the government of the DPRK and the people of the country to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the people of Russia, and wished the Chairman of the State Duma and all members of the State Duma even greater achievements in legislative activities to ensure the socio-political stability of the country and promote economic development and improve the quality of lives of the people.
