Vyacheslav Volodin: by canceling the presidential elections, Zelensky usurped power

Since May 21, he has completely lost his pseudo-legitimacy; as his term of office is over, Zelensky has no longer right to represent Ukraine as official, according to Chairman of the State Duma

recalled in his Telegram channel that presidential elections were planned to be held in Ukraine by April of 2024. In violation of the Constitution, Zelensky canceled the elections; the main reason was the fear of losing power, as he added.

“Ukraine has ceased to exist as a law-govened state since 2014. Ten years ago, Washington and Brussels conducted a bloody coup d’état in Kiev by using the Nazis. Criminals and Nazis took leadership positions. And those people who did not agree with this were jailed, killed, burned alive,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.

Results of those years in Ukraine: national interests have been betrayed, the economy has been destroyed, citizens are deprived of the right to influence their own lives and plan their future, according to the Chairman of the State Duma.

“By canceling the presidential elections, Zelensky usurped power. Since May 21, he has completely lost his pseudo-legitimacy. His five-year term of office is already over, and any reference to martial law contradicts the Constitution of Ukraine,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.

According to its norms, Zelensky is illegitimate, he does not have the right to announce mobilization, send people to war, or make any other decisions as a head of state, as emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.

“Those who do not know the law must understand that this does not exempt them from responsibility,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

Citizens of Ukraine mobilized on the basis of illegal decisions must return home today: Zelensky is illegitimate, he cannot give orders, according to Vyacheslav Volodin. He also added that the people of Ukraine “are the only source of power in the country, which is held hostage by a puppet dictator”. Everyone should understand this: both inside Ukraine and outside its borders, and primarily the heads of European states should realize that, as posted the Chairman of the State Duma.

“Any agreements with an illegitimate president are invalid and may be questioned in the future. As his term of office is over, Zelensky has no longer right to represent Ukraine as official,” concluded Vyacheslav Volodin.
