The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
posted on his Telegram channel that members of the Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine were trying to convince Washington to allow using weapons supplied
by the US to attack targets on the territory of Russia.
“This path leads to a tragedy that could affect all of humanity. The Kiev regime, losing on the battlefield, is trying to drag the United States of America and European states into a big war,” he stressed.
“Any use of American and European weapons to attack peaceful cities in the Russian Federation will require using more powerful weapons to protect the citizens of our country,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to him, Western politicians should realize their responsibility and do everything possible to not lead the situation to a global catastrophe.
