recalled in his Telegram channel that Macron made a number of loud statements, including on the possibility of sending NATO troops to Ukraine, and that horrified the residents of his country and the leaders of several European states. “Even Scholz, remembering Hitler, was taken aback by such crazy adventurism,” he added.

“Macron forgot how several years ago, when he compared modern France with the times of Napoleon, he said that Bonaparte “did not care about losses,” but since then the country “values human lives above everything else,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

“During his presidency, frankly speaking, Macron has achieved little,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.

He gave examples of the economic stagnation, the protests of the “yellow vests” and farmers, geopolitical defeats in Africa: Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger made the French troops withdraw. In addition, Niger authorities announced the suspension of uranium and gold exports to France, and also demanded compensation from Paris for more than 100 years of colonial plundering of the country’s natural resources.

“All these and many other problems are the reasons why the French people do not support Macron — his rating has fallen to an extremely low level. If the elections had been held today, Marine Le Pen would have won,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Macron wants to stay in power and decided nothing better than to ignite World War III,” he emphasized. “His initiatives are becoming dangerous for French people,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Before making such statements, it would be right for Macron to remember how it ended for Napoleon and his soldiers, more than 600 thousand of them are in the ground,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
