sent invitations to representatives of international
parliamentary organizations and members of the national parliaments of friendly
states to observe the presidential elections in Russia.
123 invitations were sent to the international parliamentary organizations and national parliaments of 78 countries.
According to the law on elections of the President of the Russian Federation, the right to send invitations to foreign observers belongs to incumbent head of state, the Federation Council and the State Duma, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Central Election Commission after the official announcement of the voting day date.
The presidential elections in Russia will be held from 15–17 March 2024.
