He recalled that over the past 10 years of sanctions wars and attempts of the Western states to deter the country’s development, Russia “has become stronger, became the fifth world’s largest economy and the largest European economy.”

“And those states that were trying to deter us lost their advantages and dominant positions as the world’s largest economies. The USA dropped to the second place, gave first place to China, Germany became the sixth economy, gave the fifth place to our country, England barely remained among the top ten largest economies, taking the last place, France is the ninth. But it must be said that there are new states among the world’s largest economies, and, it is really great that these countries are also from South Asia,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.

“That means that only independent states are able to plan their future. The founder of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, once said: only independence and freedom give opportunities to our nations to develop, and for us these are not just words,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
