The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
on his
Telegram channel. “Protestors are burning cars, robbing stores. The authorities
use special forces, armored vehicles, tear gas and water cannons. Several
thousand people were arrested. The street riots have been taking place for already a week,” he added.
The country is on the brink of civil war, according to the Chairman of the State Duma.
“What is the cause of such instability in France? It is the policy of the incumbent president Macron,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.
By trying to form a political monopoly, he had reduced the role of the trade unions during recent years, while those unions were traditionally important in the life of the state, as emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma. He added that Macron had been consistently weakening the political system, pushing Gaullists and socialists away from the political field, and they had been ensuring the stability for decades of the French Fifth Republic, and then they were marginalized. There are no more politicians like Mitterrand and Chirac in France, according to Vyacheslav Volodin.
“All these actions had led to the current situation when the problems are not discussed in the parliament but on the streets,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.
People did not see those officials who should represent them and started to use other methods to defend their own interests, as added Vyacheslav Volodin. In the current conditions the situation will only get worse, as the political system of France has become unstable to the challenges, according to the Chairman of the State Duma.
“Macron has led the once powerful and stable state to the start of self-destruction processes,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to him, Macron has failed in the internal affairs and tries to distract the nation with the foreign policy – he drew France in the war in Ukraine.
“The level of credibility is decreasing. The approval ratings are at its lowest point. And if the presidential elections had been held now, Marine Le Pen would have won,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
