The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
stressed that the dialogue between the presidents of two countries contributed to the development of relations between Russia and Algeria.
“Your visit will give a serious impetus to the inter-parliamentary cooperation and development of relations between our countries,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
It would be right to consider an issue of creation of inter-parliamentary commission, as well as to establish working relations between the relevant committees. “Such format has already shown its effectiveness with other countries: China, Vietnam, Türkiye, Iran,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.
“Russia is a friendly country for Algeria. We have always considered us as friends of the Russian Federation. We have close historical ties, starting from the Soviet Union times and till now. We have changed nothing, despite the foreign conditions and pressure. Our friendship has a solid basis,” said Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The Chairman of the State Duma expressed gratitude to the President of Algeria for supporting Russia in the international arena in the sanctions conditions: “Thank you, despite the difficult situation, we feel your support.”
“Russia is a great state. It has always been like that and will always be like that,” stressed Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
