Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast) met with the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, the President of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

Vyacheslav Volodin conveyed warm words of greetings and best wishes from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. “Your relations set a trend of development of cooperation between Russia and Cuba,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

“Our task is together with our colleagues from the National Assembly of People's Power to provide all the necessary legislative support to the decisions adopted at the level of the heads of states. “It would be right for us to develop new formats of cooperation within the parliamentary dimension,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
