That statement, as well as the recent statements by the former leaders of Germany and France Angela Merkel and François Hollande that the Minsk agreements were just an opportunity to give Kiev time to militarize the country, once again proved the fact that there was a real threat to the security of not only people of Donbass, but also all citizens of Russia, as stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.
“The start of a special military operation, as time has shown, turned out to be the only right decision taken to prevent the threat,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin. “It made it possible to prevent a catastrophe and death of a huge number of people,” he added.
“Such confessions made by the representative of the Kiev regime and former leaders of Germany and France should be used as an evidence base for an international military tribunal,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.
According to him, those leaders “plotted to start a world war with predictable consequences” and “they should be held accountable for their crimes.”
