The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
posted that on his Telegram channel.

He recalled that in 2014, the Foreign Ministers of Germany and France signed a conciliation document between the legitimate Ukrainian authorities and the opposition as guarantors of a peaceful development of events.

“But those events had led to a coup d'état in Kiev and the genocide of the 6 million population of Donbass,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Then Germany and France participated in the conclusion of the Minsk agreements. But, as Merkel said, no one had planned to fulfill them, called it an attempt to give Ukraine time for its militarization,” added the Chairman of the State Duma.

According to Vyacheslav Volodin, such pre-planned non-fulfillment of obligations after the signing of an international agreement is “not only a loss of trust, but also a crime for which the signatories of the Minsk agreements – Merkel, Hollande and Poroshenko – should be held accountable.”

“And European citizens should know who they should thank for their current problems, such as absence of of heat, electricity, huge inflation, closed enterprises,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.

“After Merkel’s words, Germany and France bear moral and material responsibility for the current situation in Ukraine. They will have to pay reparations to the residents of Donbass for 8 years of genocide and damage. And this is only the beginning,” concluded Vyacheslav Volodin.
