Vyacheslav Volodin: Uzbekistan has wisdom to assess possible consequences of the cooperation with the USA

be an example for Uzbekistan when assessing possible consequences of cooperation with Washington, as said Vyacheslav Volodin

“There are wise, literate people there, they understand the consequences of such intensions,” said the Chairman of the State Duma, commenting on the frequent visits of the US representatives to the region.
Vyacheslav Volodin added that the cooperation with the USA, which was more than strategic in nature, had led to the economic problems in Europe. “The Americans get energy resources for their country at one price, while for Europe the price is four times higher. But at the same time they got Europe involved in the sanctions wars against Russia, halted our programs, that provided opportunity to use cheap energy, and such energy was foundation for industrial development in Germany, in France, in other states,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to him, the leaders of the EU states “have finally started to recognize that Russian energy resources were foundation of the well-being of Europeans, and the USA was the initiator of termination of energy supplies to Europe, while started supplying more expensive US resources to replace supplies from Russia.”
“Now we see the result. Those who live in Asian countries understand it all, especially those who have always built relations with us on the principles of mutual respect, friendship and non-interference in internal affairs,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
Vyacheslav Volodin added that during his visit to Uzbekistan “a wide range of issues can be discussed: including such topics as common history, traditional values and cultural issues”.
“We have a lot in common. For us, for example, those things that they are trying to impose in the sphere of relations are unacceptable, they are trying to destroy the family, to impose new values. So when the USA comes in sheep's clothing, but you can still see a wolfish grin, because everyone understands who has come” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
