noted the fact that the parliamentary investigation attracted great
interest in the world and raised visible concern in the United States of America. She recalled that at the end of July, the Commission sent information on the interim results of its work to the national foreign parliaments and international inter-parliamentary organizations.
“The Pentagon’s military-biological activity in Ukraine and in the world can be regarded as new form of a stealth military-biological invasion,” said the Co-Chair of the Commission.
According to her, the US officials are creating a new global network of unpredictable sources of mortal danger for all mankind.
New evidence
Irina Yarovaya recalled that Russia had initiated a meeting which was held in Geneva on 5–9 September where issues of the US military biological activities in Ukraine were discussed. 89 states signed the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons took part in the meeting.
Russia presented documents and physical evidence proving the facts of US military-biological activities on the territory of Ukraine. Not a single delegation, including the United States of America and Ukraine, denied the authenticity of documents, as said the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma.
According to her, the Commission has evidence of the Pentagon’s dangerous activities.
Irina Yarovaya stressed that the representatives of the United States of America at the meeting confirmed the facts of the export of biomaterials from the territory of Ukraine, and, according to them, the samples were exported “rarely” and for humanitarian purposes, and that fact was not confirmed by any documents.
“Moreover, the emergency destruction of equipment and export of documents and samples in the first days of the special military operation prove the facts of the dangerous military biological projects of the United States of America in Ukraine, as well as the rash statement of Victoria Nuland,” added the Co-Chair of the Commission.
Irina Yarovaya also drew attention to the fact that the US officials did not deny in official documents that under an agreement with Ukraine of 2005, they received the right to receive strain samples, in particular “for further sequencing, characterization or identification of new and emerging strains of pathogens.” However, the US National Intelligence Report regarding the threats of genome-editing identified such activities as a weapon of mass destruction, as she said.
“Thus, that is a confirmation of the US work on biological weapons,” stressed the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma.
Irina Yarovaya added it had been “clearly and repeatedly” confirmed that the Pentagon controlled and implemented the military biological projects in Ukraine: for example, the US officials created sanitary and epidemiological departments in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“That confirms and explains the facts that there were testing drugs and conducting experiments on Ukrainian military personnel,” emphasized the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma. “In addition, that is the answer to the question who and how provided the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with psychotropic and narcotic drugs and turned them into maniacal murderers who commit terrible bloody crimes against civilians,” said the parliamentarian.
Manipulation of world consciousness
Irina Yarovaya also emphasized that the United States of America “use the UN for deception and manipulation in its own interests”. According to the Co-Chair of the Commission, the US officials do that just to create an informational noise to “distract attention by nuclear threats, while they are developing the most dangerous military-biological types of weapons of mass destruction.” And Ukraine in those plans “plays, among other things, the role of an object of distraction and manipulation”, as said the parliamentarian.
“It has become clear that the Pentagon is working on secret plans of using tactical biological weapon of mass destruction. The Pentagon’s military biological activities violate the regime of non-proliferation of biological weapons and require the adoption of relevant measures at the international level,” stressed Irina Yarovaya.
In this regard, she noted the significance of the further Commission’s reports and dossiers for ensuring global security.
