The Co-Chair of the Commission, Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya

stressed
that experts should analyze and make an objective assessment of those facts.
“The following facts should be analyzed: simultaneous outbreaks of pox in different countries. Now we see the cases of monkeypox. As well as the outbreaks in different regions of the world of hepatitis among children which has very serious consequences, requiring, among other things, a liver transplant,” said the Co-Chair of the Parliamentary Commission during the meeting of the working group.
According to Irina Yarovaya, such simultaneity and strangeness of diseases against the background of information about the large-scale secret activities of the United States in different countries of the world, including under the supervision of the Pentagon, raises concern.
“And we, taking into account all those general facts, are definitely concerned by the fact that in March in 2021 at the Munich Security Conference there was a simulation of monkeypox outbreak run also by the Nuclear Threat Initiative. It was planned that the outbreak would take place in May 2022, and of course, the organizers of these games now just say that it is nothing more than a coincidence, but you know that such chain of coincidences is very strange. And the starting point of those coincidences was the great interest of the United States in smallpox,” stressed the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma.
She also recalled
that Canadian scientists published a study in 2018, containing instructions for creating a new horsepox virus. That project was financed by the Tonix
Pharmaceuticals, as said Irina Yarovaya. In her opinion, such “different alarming
information should receive an objective and balanced assessment of experts.”
Irina Yarovaya also recalled that our country had repeatedly proposed to abandon those “museum” strains that are stored in the United States of America and Russia. “We had done a lot to beat smallpox, and we were convinced that it was beaten 40 years ago,” she said.
The Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma stressed that not only Russia, but the whole world was interested in the issues of general biological safety.
“This is both a secrecy regime and the creation of a unified biointelligence system, that is also the actualization of interest in the most dangerous viruses and pathogens, which, undoubtedly, are drawing our attention more and more to those international norms that, as Russia had repeatedly said, are general and do not provide equal and indivisible security,” said Irina Yarovaya.
She also announced that a meeting of the Parliamentary Commission would be held on Monday, June 6, with the participation of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko. “Taking into account our today’s expert discussion, maybe we will be able to formulate some additional questions on this issue,” she added.
“Our task in this case is to understand the situation, including taking into account the interest in smallpox on the basis of documents from Ukraine. I emphasize once again that the US Department of Defense is interested in the most dangerous pathogens and viruses. And such interest in addition to modern data, requires an additional serious assessment,” stressed the Co-Chair of the Parliamentary Commission.
The creation of the Parliamentary Commission of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on investigation into the circumstances related to the creation of biological laboratories by the US specialists on the territory of Ukraine was initiated by the State Duma. The need to investigate the activities of the US biological laboratories has repeatedly been emphasized by the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
The Commission consists of 14 members of the State Duma and 14 senators. Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya and Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev are the Co-Chairs of the Commission.
