and members of the State Duma laid flowers at the José Martí Memorial.
José Martí is considered a Cuban national hero, one of the initiators of the Cuban liberation struggle against the Spain’s colonial rule.
The Chairman of the State Duma is paying an official visit to Cuba. He had already met with the President of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández and with the President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
