at the first meeting of the 61st session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.
“There is a proposal that we should extend the work of the 61st session, our today’s meeting is the first meeting and we will hold a second meeting until the end of the year,” he said.
Vyacheslav Volodin stressed that the draft budget of the Union State would be considered at the second meeting.
It is planned to be held until the end of the year.
Vyacheslav Volodin paid an official visit to Minsk on December 2. Earlier, he met with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko.
Vyacheslav Volodin was elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia at the first meeting of the 61st session.
