Viacheslav Volodin: President proposed a new agenda for Europe and the USA at SPIEF

“We should join our efforts to help citizens of our country in current situation,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma. He added that the issues on current agenda, including those related to overcoming the economic crisis, should also unite everyone, as that was a common challenge. 

“Our President has provided suggestions that could be discussed during his meeting with [Joe] Biden. There is logic, a systematic approach. Most importantly, the President has proposed real steps that would help to create new economic conditions,” said Viacheslav Volodin.

“The conversation was very thoughtful, substantive. And that is really great that despite the pandemic, fears and phobias, so many people came there,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

He added that the first forum after the pandemic was really important not only for business community, “it is an opportunity to hold discussions with everyone who came there. Very large delegations from the United States, from Qatar, many representatives of European states, primarily, business representatives. The involvement of the Austrian Chancellor, leaders of Argentina and Qatar in the dialogue demonstrates the interest in the Forum,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
