A meeting of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the US President Joe Biden is expected to be held on June 16 in Geneva.

added that relations between the two countries, which had been building for decades, were almost destroyed by the United States of America. And such situation affected almost the whole world. He said that it involved not only issues of global security, but also the problems caused by the lack of international norms and rules in the field of economy and trade.

The Chairman of the State Duma is convinced that the European states were affected the most by the actions of the US authorize, especially small states, which had lost their identity. However, such situation even affects Germany, as Washington does not take into account views of other states.

“All these issues may be included in the agenda,” said Viacheslav Volodin in an interview to RT on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“I can only say one thing: our President Vladimir V. Putin is doing everything to keep the world from sliding into the abyss of chaos and conflicts that could lead to big problems for the whole world. His role is really undeniable,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

“Maybe he will change some minds of those in the USA who have recently done a lot of wrong things and unfair to other countries,” he added.
