Member of the State Duma commented on Joe Biden’s plans to run for second term

The recent statement by the US President Joe Biden about his plans to run for reelection in 2024 is an attempt to respond to suspicions of his incapacity and expectations of possible transfer of power to Vice President Kamala Harris, as said member of the Committee on International Affairs Elena Panina

“The recent statement by the US President Joe Biden about his plans to run for reelection in 2024 is an attempt to respond to suspicions of his incapacity and expectations of possible transfer of power to Vice President Kamala Harris,” said member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Elena Panina Panina Elena Vladimirovna Panina

Earlier, the US President announced at the press conference that he planned to run for reelection, and then added that he had no habit of planning for 3.5–4.5 years in advance and that was only his “expectation.”

Elena Panina told journalists that such statement was just “an attempt to respond to suspicions of his incapacity and expectations of his possible resignation after he called Kamala Harris “president” and fell several times while boarding the presidential plane”.

“On the other hand, Joe Biden’s remark that the US Republican Party might not even exist in three years just shows that the ruling party has plans to break the US political traditions and establish a one-party system. All this demonstrates the new cycle of political turbulence in the United States,” said Elena Panina.
