Viacheslav Volodin to hold a meeting with PACE President on March 15
That was announced by the Chairman of the State Duma. According to him, the issue of sanctions policy will be one of the topics of the planned discussion

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the seventh convocation. He was elected as part of the federal list of candidates proposed by the All-Russian political party “United Russia”
told journalists. He added that the meeting would be held at the State Duma.
“The sanctions [against Russia] are taken unjustifiably, without discussions. So there is a question, do we really need PACE in that situation? We will discuss this issue and many other issues,” he said and noted the importance of a dialogue.
According to the Chairman of the State Duma, there are many politicians in parliamentary structures “who understand that not only Russian economy is affected by sanctions, but restrictive measures primarily affect the economies of European states.”
