As the member of the State Duma said, “the text of the resolution of the European Parliament reiterated the statements of representatives of foreign states on the detention of the “Berlin passenger” and completely ignored such things as “compliance with the law” and “logic of legal actions”.
“We are no longer surprised by the anti-Russian attitude and predictability of European parliamentarians. Their position is not the strongest part of big provocation, where Western strategists use Navalny as a pawn in their game,” Leonid Slutskiy stressed.
“It is worth recalling that all such resolutions are of a recommendatory nature and are used just to maintain anti-Russian attitude to divert attention from problems with democratic freedoms in Western states. And we pay attention to the statements of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, no one is going to stop Nord Stream 2 completion over Navalny. So we see that the shot is loud as always, but they are shooting blanks,” said the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs.
