“We all pay attention to inadmissibility of such actions. All internal issues of the state should be resolved by the citizens, without foreign pressure and interference,” he stressed.
Viacheslav Volodin said that it is unacceptable when “foreign states carry out openly an information campaign against Belarus, finance oppositions, and try to destabilize the socio-political situation in the republic.”
He noted that the actions of the United States were aimed at “making the situation even worse, making our countries uncompetitive, and imposing more and more restrictions.” Restriction measures have been imposed against the Russian Federation, China, Korea, Cuba, Iran, Turkey, and the US authorities apply pressure on European countries.
“We should work
even more effectively, we need to understand that only strong economy, strong
sovereignty would help to cope with such unfair competition,” stressed
Viacheslav Volodin.
“We know what the double standards are like no other country, but that should motivate us to work more,” he said.
“I hope that the Parliament of the Union State will do everything possible so that we would be able to resolve the issues of our citizens more effectively and do everything to ensure that the Union State, Belarus and the Russian Federation would develop more. Therefore, this is a challenge for us, which we should overcome and become even stronger,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
