The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
held negotiations with
the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
Speakers discussed issues of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as interaction in the framework of international organizations.
Viacheslav Volodin noted ”the continued development of cooperation and strategic nature of relations between our two states.“
