of countries that support the adoption of the resolution, if not declines every
year, then definitely does not grow. We should take into account that the number
of abstentions and those states voted against or not participated in the voting
is in much higher than the number of supporters. That shows the real level of significance of the initiative to the majority of states of the world,” said

He stressed that “a biased and partisan approach of the Western states and their satellites prevailed at the UN.”
“Conclusions about mythical oppression and human rights violations in Crimea are made by default, without any evidence and are groundless. None of the ”accusers“ has ever visited the Crimean peninsula and do not know the real situation there after those events when Crimea became a part of the Russian Federation,” stressed Leonid Slutskiy.
“I am ready to assist in arranging the visit of a special UN mission to Crimea when the global epidemiological situation gets better. I am convinced that after that visit the tradition (or inertia) of adopting such fake resolutions will draw to a close. And they will see that the allegations of oppression and persecution in Crimea do not correspond to reality,” said the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs.
“The UN should finally resolve the issues of violation of basic human rights in Crimea with Ukraine, as that state continues to torment those people live in the peninsula by blocking the supply of fresh water. This is a reality, not anti-Russian myths,” concluded Leonid Slutskiy.
