, Chairman of the Commission on the Investigation of Foreign Interference in Russia's Internal Affairs, shares the concerns of the Russian Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, regarding the dissemination of inaccurate information about the fight against the spread of coronavirus in Russia by the head of the American human rights organization “Human Rights Watch”, Kenneth Roth.

“Human Rights Watch has long been on Commission’s radar and by no means in connection with human rights activities, as one might expect,” said Vasilii Piskarev.

“This organization is known to us for its attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Russia, inciting protest sentiments in society, as well as for the facts of disseminating information that is harmful to the health and development of children. We do not expect such actions from human rights defenders at a time when a common disaster has seized a lot of countries of the world, including the USA,” the Chairman of the Commission concluded.
