countries are not interested in the fact that “we gave concrete meaning to the norm of the social state in the Constitution”, “they do not support us and the decisions adopted by the President on transferring part of the President’s
powers to the citizens of our country on the appointment of the Government, and the formation of the executive branch in the Russian Federation, when people
will be able to solve this issue through with a help of their representatives
in the Parliament and control the work of the Government through parliamentary
control. ”
“They don’t think about the fact that we have protected the rights of citizens, our culture and history.
They are bothered by one thing. This issue is related to the amendment of Valentina V. Tereshkova

“They do not want our country to be strong,” stressed Viacheslav Volodin. “They see the development of our country in the fact that Vladimir V. Putin can still be elected President after 2024.”
“Today, Putin is perceived by other states as a person who effectively solves problems and manages to make our country stronger,” the Chairman of the State Duma said.
He emphasized that the initiative to give Vladimir Putin an opportunity to be re-elected after 2024 was made by Valentina Tereshkova, ”a person who devoted her whole life to the country.“ Viacheslav Volodin noted that immediately after the adoption of the amendment, a ”flagrant campaign against her and her family“ began.
“We must, I urge you to be decent, be patriots, be people who are aware that the attacks on Ms. Tereshkova are attacks on our country,” said Viacheslav Volodin. He noted that Valentina Tereshkova made a proposal that can make our country stronger.
“Let's agree, if there are no other opinions on this issue, there should be a consensus and each of us, no matter which party he or she represents, must do everything to overcome these attacks and resist them,” the Chairman of the State Duma addressed the parliamentarians.
