Once again, condolences were expressed to the Iranian people, as well as to the families and friends of the victims of the crash, regardless of their citizenship or nationality,” said Leonid Slutskiy.
The Chairman of the Committee added that the members of the State Duma and Mr. Ambassador have had long-standing and fruitful relations since his work in the Commission on Foreign Affairs and Defense of the Majlis (Parliament) of Iran. “For our part, we reaffirm our readiness to increase inter-parliamentary cooperation after the parliamentary elections in Iran on February 21,” informed Leonid Slutskiy.
