Viacheslav Volodin was nominated as Chairman of the CSTO PA

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
was nominated as Chairman of the CSTO PA.
“Dear colleagues, I propose to nominate Viacheslav Volodin for election at the 12th plenary meeting,” said Dastan Jumabekov. The proposal was unanimously supported by all members of the CSTO PA Council.
Also at the meeting, the agenda of the CSTO PA plenary session was approved.
At the suggestion of the Armenian side, the CSTO PA events are being held at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
Earlier, Viacheslav Volodin took part in the laying of flowers to the monument “Mother Armenia” ceremony together with the heads of parliamentary delegations.
